Carl returns to Chapel of the Chimes, the where hundreds of artists gather every year on the Summer Solstice to perform in the amazing Julia Morgan designed columbarium for the event Garden of Memory, produced and directed by Sarah Cahill along with New Music Bay Area .TICKETS WILL BE CAPPED AT 2000 – less than half the previous concert in 2019. PROOF OF VACCINATION AND MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED FOR ENTRY. There will be both fewer audience goers, and fewer performers spaced throughout the building in the large, more ventilated spaces. ONLINE SALES ONLY. NO SALES AT THE DOOR.

The venue is MoT+++s an independent, artist-run space in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. it collaborates with artists to create an experimental environment that encourages artists to push the boundaries of their practice. Multiple rooms in the uniquely designed house, plus adjacent areas surrounding, serve as the stage. The three artists find a way for a unique interaction.

Carl returns to San Diego after a 7 year hiatus to perform a solo concert at White Box Live Arts, located inside Liberty Station. This event is part of the Fresh Sound series, produced and hosted by Bonnie Wright. The mission of the Fresh Sound series is to bring a wide range of new music and stellar musicians to San Diego that wouldn’t normally find themselves in the area. Fresh Sound began presenting concerts in 1997 “and will continue ad infinitum.”
