A private house next to a temple and cemetery in the Kiyosumi area of Tokyo becomes the venue for a special installation/performance by Carl Stone (electronics) Akaihirume (voice) and Morishige Yasumune (cello). Multiple rooms in the uniquely designed house, plus adjacent areas surrounding, serve as the stage. The three artists find a way for a unique interaction.

This event is part of the Fresh Sound series, produced and hosted by Bonnie Wright. The mission of the Fresh Sound series is to bring a wide range of new music and stellar musicians to San Diego that wouldn’t normally find themselves in the area. Fresh Sound began presenting concerts in 1997 “and will continue ad infinitum.”
